Denver Municipal Section 8-55, "Pit Bulls Prohibited"
In Denver, Colorado.... The Mayor and City Council enacted a law in 1989 - 2004 and again from 2005 - present that allows them to storm private homes, confiscate, and kill family dogs... based on breed alone and NOT individal actions or behavior.
Sure, we have some bad people in this world who do bad and unthinkable things to animals. "SOMETIMES" those animals turn dangerous and violent from their upbringing. Look at the Michael Vick incident. But to stereotype ALL Pit Bulls as bad because of the actions of their owners is just old fashion stereotyping and discrimination. If animals had rights, this would be clear cut infringment on their 14th Amendment Rights.
